PoultryPlan welcomes Pieter Brons in the PoultryPlan team. Pieter will pick up his role as sales manager as of March 1. “In my conversations with PoultryPlan I got to know the organisation as decisive and flexible. I look forward to contributing to further growth of PoultryPlan and to playing a role improving the software with customer feedback”, says Pieter.
Pieter brings along an impressive amount of experience and expertise. “In my working life I have always had commercial positions in the agricultural sector, mainly focusing on intensive livestock farming and Ag-tech software. At Farm Automation level I was responsible for international sales of pig and poultry software. At AgroVision I ensured that Layer software became part of the company and in recent years I was in charge of global sales, marketing and product management.”
Pieter is particularly looking forward to going back into the field, speaking to poultry people and looking for the best solutions together. The international working environment certainly adds flavour to his role. “PoultryPlan is active on a global scale and people all over the world are interested in the software. I like to work with different cultures and people.” He adds: “The beauty of the system is that PoultryPlan is a solution for the entire egg and poultry meat value chain. Tracking, tracing, planning across the various links are all reflected in this ERP software. It is extremely important to me that I can stand behind the product that I am selling. I am convinced that PoultryPlan can help countless integrations and large scale farmers to simplify work and optimize processes. And I am looking forward to dive into the challenges poultry integrations are facing.”
